Lessons Learned - Why Learning Vocabulary CAN be Difficult

By now, you should have watched the introductory videos in the How to Learn Hebrew Vocabulary series. These lessons show the importance of learning the commonest words first. Doing so will result in a massively disproportionate (positive) effect on your ability to understand a given text.

You will also have created your own Hebrew Wordlist - a list much longer than anything you have created before, and a list long enough to make you struggle. How did you get on?

In this video, we take a look at the Lessons Learned. We look at what your experiences probably were. We will look into some of the problems with learning long lists of Hebrew vocabulary. Then, in future videos, we will look at ways to learn Hebrew vocabulary more efficiently, and to eliminate the problems that you experienced.

Once you do that, you will be on the brink of making substantial progress in understanding the Biblical text that you are studying.
